A Letter From Our President
Welcome,
I am Lauren Calhoun, and I’m honored to serve as President of the Zeta Upsilon chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, the nation’s foremost professional fraternity, for the Fall 2026 term. It has been my pleasure to be a part of this organization since my first semester of college, and I have so enjoyed watching it grow and blossom year after year.
Joining Delta Sigma Pi signifies a brother’s contribution towards something bigger than themselves. It conveys a commitment to academic excellence, professional development, and personal growth. It means recognizing the value of innovation and strong leadership both on and off campus. Whether it be community service, brotherhood, professionalism, or scholarship, our chapter consistently reflects the values Delta Sigma Pi and upholds what it means to be a Deltasig with honor. As the longest standing business fraternity at Virginia Tech, the professional aptitude gained by brothers is acquired through the deep-rooted strength of our brotherhood, an alumni network of over 1,200 brothers, a prominent Pamplin presence, and valuable industry connections. Most importantly, Delta Sigma Pi provides students with a community on campus. Here, you will find mentors, future colleagues, lifelong friends, and your chosen family.
DSP has transformed my college experience in more ways than one. Delta Sigma Pi helped me find my voice, develop as a leader, and discover my passions. I remember attending my first recruitment event on Dietrick Lawn as a freshman in the Fall of 2023. I could instantly sense the authentic energy and connection that radiated from this brotherhood. Everyone was so welcoming, and I was drawn to the camaraderie of the group. I knew I had found the right place. It was at this event that I met the people that have shaped me into who I am today, both professionally and personally. They showed me what it means to have a village from which we all contribute to and draw support from.
This chapter means more to me than I can express in this letter, so I invite you to come and see for yourself what makes it so special. Make the choice to invest in yourself and your future. You just might find a new home!

Our Purpose
Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity, and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce, and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.
