DELTA SIGMA PI
ZETA UPSILON CHAPTER
AMERICA'S FOREMOST BUSINESS FRATERNITY
A Letter From Our President

Welcome,

I am Tyler Cowher, and I’m honored to serve as President of the Zeta Upsilon chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, the nation’s foremost professional fraternity, for the Spring 2025 term. Whether it be acts of community service, brotherhood, professionalism, or scholarship, our chapter and the brothers that comprise it consistently reflect the values Delta Sigma Pi upholds and carry what it means to be a Deltasig with honor.

Joining Delta Sigma Pi signifies a brother’s contribution towards something bigger than themselves. It conveys a commitment to academic excellence, professional development, and personal growth. Ultimately, it means recognizing the value of innovation and strong leadership both on and off campus. At the Zeta Upsilon chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, we often identify our members as students dually motivated in their professional and social efforts. The professional aptitude gained by brothers is acquired via the strength of our brotherhood, an alumni network of over 1200 brothers, a prominent Pamplin presence, and valuable industry connections. Most importantly, Delta Sigma Pi provides students with a community on campus. Here, you will find mentors, future colleagues, lifelong friends, and your chosen family.

My time as a brother of Delta Sigma Pi has been nothing short of transformative. After joining in the Fall of 2022, I quickly realized that the cornerstone of my college career was taking form. I found a community of just over 80 students in a campus of 30,000, and the knowledge and skills I’ve acquired from this community have taken me further than I ever could have imagined.

I will never forget the first recruitment event I attended as a prospective member of DSP, Meet the Chapter. It was during that event, speaking with brothers on Dietrick Lawn, that I met the people that have shaped me into who I am today - the same people that taught me the importance of balancing confidence and modesty, ambition and contentment, and assertiveness and tact. They showed me what it means to have community both in contributing to it via acts of mentorship and in benefiting from it via acts of support.

I invite you to recognize the incredibly valuable qualities of this organization. You may just find the community, mentorship, personal and professional growth, and family so many have.

Sincerely,
Tyler Cowher | President – Zeta Upsilon
